We hopped off, when we entered the boutique; it was FULL of people, they were about 60? I really didn't count them.
“The hell!” I said.
“Aish ha4a,” Rana said.
I just turned around and rushed to the car, I thought Rana followed but she really didn't.
WHERE THE FUCK DID SHE GO! I couldn't go back to the boutique; yet I needed to. 3 minuets passed and she's still out of sight. 4, 5, 6 minuets and she's not here yet! I hopped off, and rushed to the boutique, when I opened the door, I found Rana yelling at a lady in her late 20s, I stood in shock,
“ENTI MJNOONA? T3RFEN ELY SWAITEEH MOMKEN WAIN YWDEEK? HA4I LW TRF3 ESMA3A 3LA AY A7D R7TI B,STEEN DAHYA!” Rana yelled.
I pulled Rana, she looked at me, and I said, “let's go Rana, we aren't talking to such a careless person.” We walked outside. Essam came to me.
“Ma'am is anything wrong? Do we need to go in?” Essam said.
“No, we dealed with them.” I said. We hoped in the car and Rana asked the driver to go to my house.
“Rana, please don't do such a thing again. You really don't know what it will cause you. And I'm sorry about what happened.” I said.
“Shd3wa Lily, it isn't your problem. Never apologize for a thing ma kan bydk,” Rana said.
“Allah ya54ha mn 3baya ist'3frallah, 5la9 Ana aro7 ay mkan elyoum ajeebli.” I said

“Yallah Yallah,” I said
“Bs sa3teen nshoof movie w a6l3,” rana said
“Okie dokie,” I said.
We hopped off, and went inside the villa.
“Bjeeb moya tbeen?” I said.
“Ee please,” she said. I let her sit in the guests room, and I went to the kitchen. I swear seconds later I heard Rana screaming, I ran back to her I found her standing on the sofa, and looking at the ground, I looked down to find fluffy grey cat. I leaned down and picked her up.
“From where did she come?” I asked
“Mdri mdri bs 6l3eeha 3n wjhi amanah,” Rana said. She was panicked.
“She's a cat dude-.-” I said and took her to the kitchen to ask the maids.
“It belongs to whom?” I asked, and one maid turned.
“It belongs to Hala, give me let me take her upstairs.” She said as she stretched her arms. I gave her the cat, then washed my hands. I took two bottles of water and went back to the guests room.
“What kind of movies do you want to watch?” I asked Rana.
“Hmm ay shay, not a big fan of romantic movies though,” she said.
“The hunger games?” I said
“Yallah okay, I didn't watch it,” Rana Said
“Neither me,” I said. “I will get my laptop,” I said and rushed upstairs.
I took my MacBook and rushed downstairs, for a second I realized that I don't know the password, I called my father and he said that it's his name with Li at the end. How cute :( I downloaded the movie and while we were watching it, I heard someone calling my name.
“Give me a second,” I said as I stopped the movie.
“Take your time,” Rana said.
When I left the room I found aunt muneera standing in the reception hall.
“Hey auntie,” I said as soon as I saw her.
“Halla Lily, waink” she said.
“Ashof movie with Rana hena,” I said and pointed at the guests room.
“sh5bark elyoum ma shftk youm 6l3ti,” she said

“La shukran,” I said
“Lw tbeen shay el5dm klhom t7t amrk,” she said and gave me a kiss on the cheek then made her way to the kitchen. I froze in my place for a second then I shrugged my shoulders and went back to Rana. I found her talking on the phone.
“Ee,” she said
“5la9 3,sa3a 5 amr a54hom w ashoof,” she said
“Yallah m3 eslamah shukran 7beebti,” she said and hung up.

“Hala,”
“Enti tbeen 3baya b,colors wajd wela shwy bs,” Rana asked as she took her water bottle.
“It doesn't matter, ahm shay 7lwa,” I said.
Suddenly we heard someone singing.
“Bsmellah mn 4e,” Rana said
I rushed outside, I found Farah singing.
“Farah!!!!” I said.
“Anti leeh hena?”
“Low your voice, Rana is here,” I said
“Amanah, sorry sorry,” Farah said and rushed upstairs.
I went back to Rana,
“Yallah Ana bmshi,” Rana said
“whyyy,” I said.
“Wallah 6wlt marh, Yallah nshoofk greeb,” Rana said and we kissed cheeks. I walked her to the door. I closed the door, when I turned around I found aunt muneera staring at me.
“What?” I said
“Btt'3dain?” She asked
“No thanks,” I said.
“Leeh?” She asked.
“Wallah I cant, anyways I will go to walk, I didn't exercise today,” I said.
“Feek shay enti 3shan tmsheen?” she said
“Auntie I'm a celebrity I need to stay fit all the time.” I said
“Mdri wsh tgoulen, bs Yallah t'3di b3dain emshi w swi ely tbeen,” she said.
“Mabi,” I said.
“Mamaaaa waink Yallah nbi nakl,” Farah shouted from the dining room.
“Yallah Lily,” aunt muneera said.
I sighed and walked with her. Me, Farah, hala, Saleh, and aunt muneera gathered around the table. they had kabsa for lunch, and I had burgers, because I don't eat kabsa.
“Mama mabi rz,” Saleh said. “Abi zay Lily,” he added.
“Mama shfeeh el,rz?Afwd w a7san mn burger,” aunt muneera said.
“Mabi mabi," he was about to cry.
“You can have mine,” I said as I gave him my plate.
“Wallah?” He said, and I nodded.
“La la, Lily 54eeh Ana mabi yakl hl,ashya mo zaina lh,” aunt muneera said.
“Mama please gouli lhom yswon le, Ana ma54 7g Lily,” Saleh said.
Suddenly, Abdulaziz came in.
“Slaam,” he said
“W 3laikom esalam,” we all replied.
“Shfeekom,” Abdulaziz asked as he kissed his mother's forehead.
“I want a burger but mama says no,” Saleh said
“Awl marh ashof a7d yshoof kabsa w ygoul abi burger,” Abdulaziz said
“Leeh bs Lily, Ana abi b3d" Saleh said.

“Aziz goul l,mama abi burgers,” Saleh said
“Kl rz bl,lail awdeek takl burger,” Abdulaziz said.
“Wallah?” Saleh said
Abdulaziz nodded, and Saleh's smile grew wider.
We all ate, then I went to wash my hands. When I was washing my phone rang, I saw the id caller she was my mom. I let a sigh out and picked it up.
“Bonjour Maman,” I said
Translation: good morning mom.
“Bonjour,” mom said.
“How are you?” She asked
“I'm fine,” I said.
I walked to the garden, even though the weather was burning hot, but I didn't want anyone to hear me.
“When you are coming back?” Mom asked.
“In 3 weeks maybe, I really don't know.” I said
“I miss you,” she said
“I miss you too, I said
“Baby, I need to go,!” She said.
“Bye Maman, je t'aime,” I said.
“Me too,” she said, “I will talk to you in couple of hours; I promise.” she said and we both hung up.
I never knew or expected that my mom will ever break a promise she made for me. It really shattered my heart so much, it made it ache, I cried so many nights after that day. Bit confused? Let me explain more.
The same day, at 6:00 PM I was in my room, getting ready cause we needed to go and buy stuff for hala's party. I was fixing my hair when Farah opened the door, her face colors were changing.
“What's wrong Farah?” I said as I rushed to her. She just wrapped her arms around my waist.
“I'm sorry Lily,” Farah said.
“Wait wait for what?” I said as I pushed her away from me.
She looked at me and ran to her parents room, I followed her, she opened their door, I found aunt muneera about to cry, and Dad was giving me his back. He turned around when he saw me, he came to me and said “Lily, we need to talk,” he said. We walked to my room, and sat on the edge of the bed.
“Lily, you believe what ever happens in your life is the best for you, right?” Mu dad said
“Baba, get to the point,” I said.
“I really don't know how I can tell you this, but your mother had a really bad car crash, and the chance of her living is 10%“ he said.
I looked at him, blinked couple of times, then laughed hysterically.
