“Whats wrong?” He said.
“Nothing,” I said
“Are you sure?” He said.
I nodded.
“Okay, if you need anything i will be with the men.” He said
How cute, I guess?
I sat next to aunt Muneera, I was so tired and I needed to sleep. All of them were hyper as shit. I yawned a bit maybe couple of times, aunt muneera turned to me and said, “etha feek noum ru7i nami.”
“No I'm fine,” I said as I yawned. Who are you kidding Lily.
“LILLLLLYYYY,” hala loud voice made me panic and jump from my place.
“god!! What” I said.
“Come come see,” she said in excitment.
I rushed to her and sat after I pushed Haya.
“5aaaaair mkaaaani” Haya said
“Ops! But I'm elder,” I said and giggled.
“Bzr,” she said. And we all laughed.
“Shoufi Lily!!!!” Hala said
“aish Feek, snapchat Hatha shfeeh,” I said
“Kl those chats ys2loon 3nkk!!” She said.
she opened one of the chats and it was written in Arabic, and I couldn't read it.
“Hala, I don't read Arabic,” I said feeling ashamed.
”oh, mktoob "amanah haloola nbi nshoofhaa,” hala said after she read the text.
“Oh!!” I said
“Do you mind?” She asked.
“I don't! But I can't meet everyone it's hard, you know I need guards with me to every shit I go to,” I said.
“Listen, I'm throwing a graduation party in a week,” hala said
“Okay, I will see them in the party bs” I said.
“Okay, I love you” she said and gave me a tight side hug. I hugged her back and said “I love you too.”
It really feels so good having a younger sister, or let me say sisters in general. Hala and Farah are the best, they're so nice and amazing with me since the first hour I met them. Aunt muneera is also nice, she's not mean at all like I thought at first. I guess I'm just pleased.
“Hey, let snapchat together, and annoy others,” Farah said.
“Yalaaaah,” all the girls said, including Rana.
“Hey snapchat, 7na elyoum mjtm3een k2n ma wrana dwam bukraaaa,” Farah said as soon as she started the video.
“Kl wa7d ytklm 3n nfsa please,” Rana, and Anfal said as soon as they heard Farah saying “wrana dwam bukra"
“Lily say something to my snapchat,” hala said.
“Oh hi hala's snapchat,” I said and giggled.
“'67kt'ha r8ee8a ya jma3aaa, malt 3ali” afnan said while snap-chatting.
“Lily, b9wr snapchat now, enti gouli enk btjeen my party please,” hala said.
“Okay... But why” I asked
“Cause if everyone knew you're coming byjoon w mara7 at7sf 3la el7maas w t3bna ma yroo7 hba2, plus say that they must show their card gbl yd5loon,” hala said.
“Okay...” I said. “Mta hy?” I asked
“Next Friday,”
“Hi hala's snapchat, you all must attend to hala's graduation party by next Friday, I need to see you all.” I said and the 10 seconds were over. “Wa7d Thani,” I said.
“Yallah,” she said.
“You must show your invitation cards to the guards by the door, hope to see you, bye” I said and 10 seconds were over again.
“Thaaaank youuuu,” she said and kissed my left cheek.
“You're more than welcome; and I need to talk to you when we go up.” I said in whispers.
“Okay,” she said
“Farah too,” I added. She nodded.
We sat and chatted, laughed, giggled. They're all nice. By 10 everyone was gone, my dad came to sit with us, I sat next to my father, and lied my head on his shoulder. We were talking until Abdulaziz cut is off, “salaam,” he said and kissed his parents foreheads.
“W 3laikom eslam,” we all said.
“Yumma, bukra byjon el3yal feeh mubarat,” Abdulaziz said.
“Abshr yumma, Bgoulhom yn'6fonlk dewaniya,” aunt muneera said
“Ma tg9reeen,” he said
“Ana bshoof m3koom,” Saleh said
“enthbr bs,” Abdulaziz said.
“7ram 3laik ya 3ziz, bzr trah,” dad said
“Yubba l2nh bzr mabeeh,” Abdulaziz said.
“Baba ma y5leeni ashoof abd Ana a7b kora,” Saleh said.
“Wla yhmk baba, Ana bukra ash'3lk kora w nshof m3 b3'6.” My dad said.
“Barca w Manchester?” Farah said.
“Ee,” Abdulaziz said.
“Really, not today?” I asked.
“No, it's tomorrow by 8 PM.” Abdulaziz said.
“Cool,” I said
“Baba,” I whispered to my dad.
“Sammy,” he said.
“Rana said, she wants to take me out for breakfast tomorrow,” I said
“Go, but tell me before you leave so I can call the guards,” he said.
“Hmm okay,” I said, “thank you,” I added.
“Lily,” hala said
“Call me, lulu or Lil,” I said. When I said lulu my dad smiled widely.
I swear my dad's smile worths billion and zillion dollars to me. I would die just to see it, even if the wrinkles of aging and tiredness shows whenever he smiles.
“6ayb ya Lulu,” hala said
“Hmmm” I said
“3ndk shay bukra bl,lail?” She asked
“No plans yet, why?” I asked
“Abeek tjeen m3aay km m7l, pleaseeeeeeeeeee” she begged
“Okay,” and I looked at my father. He just nodded.
“Bs tell me the exact time,” u said
“6:30,” she said.
“Okay, no problems,” I said
“Ops hala, but I'm joining,” Farah said.
“Nshbaaaaaaa,” hala said
We all laughed.
Speaking of my family, I never believed that people change until I saw them after 10 years.
“Yallah kl wa7d 3la sreeerh, bukra mdrsa” aunt muneera said.
“Mama la please knt nasya,” Farah said.
“Agoul bs Yallah, Mali 5lg bukra agwmkom,” aunt muneera.
“Thank god I finished school 9ra7a,” I said.
“Enti eskti bs!!!” Hala said
“Hala w faroo7 tboon bukra awdeekom? 6al3 mbkrrr Ana,” Abdulaziz said, as he winked.
“Eeeeeee,” they both said.
“Ana 6:15 bsyarah ely ma yjee broo7 3nh,” Abdulaziz said.
“Ana aje?” Saleh asked
“Ya laaaail, leeh ga6 wjh?” Farah said.
Saleh's eyes got drowned with tears, before he burst out crying I said, “I will take you to school tomorrow, leave them alone.”
“Really?” He looked at me, and I nodded, he ran and hugged me so tight.
“thank you thank you,” he said.
“when your school starts?” I asked.
“7 AM,” he said.
“Okay,” I said.
“Yubba lulu ma 3laik mnh, Ana awdeeh w Ana ray7 edwam,” dad said.
“Lil ma yn36a wjh traaa,” Farah said
“I'm fine with it, leeh m39been?” I said.
“Bkaifk Ana gltlk w enti ma tsm3een,” Farah said
“Swi ely yry7k yubba,” dad said. I kissed his forehead.
“Ana broo7 anam,” hala said.
“7ta Ana,” Farah said
“W Ana b3d,” Abdulaziz said too.
“Shsalfatkom, nazl 3laikom wa7i?” Aunt muneera said.
“Nmna bdri ma 3jbkom w mt25r b3d ma 3jbkom,” Farah said
“Rou7i bs,” aunt muneera said.
They all left, it was only me, baba, Saleh, and aunt muneera left.
“Ha kaif elyoum,” baba said
“7amdellah,” I said, “bs t3b,” I added.
“3adi awl marh akeed w twk jaya mn safr,” my dad said.
“Allah y9l7k ya 9aloo7 laish tnam hena,” aunt muneera complained.
“Ma 3laik Ana asheela,” my dad said as he stood up.
“Allah ys'hl 3laaik,” aunt muneera said.
“Good night,” I said, as I kissed my dad and aunt muneera, i really didn't mean to kiss her. I backed off as soon as I realised I shouldn't do that; she just smiled and said, “t9b7een 3la 5air.”
I ran to my room, as soon as I opened the door I found cupcakes and a wrapped gift, and a letter was lied next to them. I rushed to my bed, I looked at the cupcakes, then I took the letter to read it.
“Welcome to your second home Lily, we hope you have a wonderful time. We love you!
Your siblings,
Abdulaziz, Hala, Farah, and Saleh.”
awww how cute. again readers, I'm really blessed with them.
I felt the door moved, I turned around and I found them standing by the door. I went to them and said, “you guys are the best wallah,” and I hugged the first one was front of me, she was Farah. She hugged me back, then I hugged Hala, when it came to Abdulaziz, he stared at me for a second, and I opened my arms, and hugged him so tight. He hugged me back.
“I really don't know what to say, I'm so speechless. I'm so glad that I have siblings like you. It's just day one, and I'm just too happy to be here.” I said.
“5la9 3aad bla 9ya7, trana e5waan,” Abdulaziz said. I wiped my tears and giggled.
“Yallah hala w Farah bukra 3ndkkm madrsaaa,” Abdulaziz said.
“Antom ma t5lon elwa7s yfr7 enh nasi tjoun t4kroona?” Farah said.
“Thank god I graduated,” I said.
“Bara baitna ma 3ndna nas yg3doon yghrooni,” Farah said
“Rou7o 3n wjhi bs,” Abdulaziz said and left the room.
I yawned, and hala said “5la9 lets all go to sleep, good night.”
“Good night,” I said. they left and closed the door. I changed to comfy shorts and tank top. It's burning here!!!
I laid on my bed and took my phone out, I texted Rana,
"I'm coming tomorrow,"
About 2 minuets later she texted back,
"Sounds great!! Gonna pick you up by 8:30,"
"I will be on time,"
"Wear heels for tomorrow my abaya is so long,"
"Oh yeah, I must go to get me one,"
"No probs, after breakfast we will get you one,"
"That's good, good night"
"Good night,"
After I read her text I called my mom. By the 5th ring she picked it up
“Hey Maman," I said
“Hey, ma chérie” she said, “how are you doing,” she asked.
Translation: sweetie.
“I'm fine, what about you?” I said
“I'm working, I'm so stressed out,” she said
“Mom take a break you really need one,” I said
“When you come back I will, it's hard that both of us take a break,” she said.
“Mom, I miss you so much” I said
“I miss you more, when are you coming back?” She asked
“I didn't book a ticket yet,” I said
“Do they treat you good there?” She sled in worries.
“Mom they're more than amazing, they don't treat me differently, they've changed so much,” I said
“That sounds good,” she said.
“Mom I need to sleep, good night” I said
“Good night,” she said, “sleep tightly,” she added. We both flied kissed and hung up. Afterwards I took the gift they gave me and wrapped it off, it was a square chopard earrings, they're so damn great, I really loved them, I've always wanted them, but I never got the chance to have my hands on them.
I smiled and took a picture of it and sent to my mom and wrote "look what they got me, the earrings I've always wanted,” and I locked my phone, plugged it to the charger, sat an alarm at 5:45 am and drifted to a deep sleep.
--
The next day I woke up, on the sound of the alarm. I closed it and pulled myself to take a shower. After I took a shower I wore a pair of black leggings and a maroon cropped top. I matched them with maroon nike AirForce; I also applied a little of makeup. Then For a second I realized I don't have abaya. I left my room and Farah's I knocked the door twice and she said “meeeen”
“It's Lil” I said
“Come in,”
And I stepped into her room.
“Good morning,” I said with a smile
“Good morning,” she replied as she pulled her hair into a ponytail.
“Listen Farah, do you have an extra abaya?” I asked. I was really shy
“Yeah akeed,” she said.
“can I borrow it please? I need to take Saleh to school as I promised but I don't have one,” I Said.
“For sure,” she said. She went to her closet, took an abaya and gave it to me. It was beige and black.
“Thank you thank you so much, you really saved my life,” I said and gave her a quick hug.
“You're more than welcome at anytime,” she said.
I left her room, and I went downstairs after I took my phone.
I found my dad reading a newspaper.
“Morning daddy,” I said as I kissed his cheek.
“9ba7 el5air ya 3youn baba,” he said. “Leeh 9a7yaa?”
“I will take Saleh to school,” I said, “by the way did you see him?” I asked.
“Ymkn yf6r shoufeeh,” he said. When I stood up to look for him; he came.
“E6ayb 3nd 4krh,” baba said.
“Good morning Saleh,” I said
“Good morning,” he said, “kent a7sbki nayma,” he added.
“I promised and I'm keeping my promise,” I said.
“Yallah let's go,” he said as he held my hand with his tiny one.
“T3al ya 9loo7 Allah y9l7k, ma klat shay,” daddy said.
“Youh, Yallah let's get you a sandwich and go we are late,” he said.
He pulled me to the kitchen and said, “Merry, make a sandwich for Lily,” he said and turned to me, “do you want coffee or tea or milk?”
“I'm fine with black coffee,” I said
“And black coffee merry, bsr3a t25rt,” he said.
“Saleh we are not late, it's not 6;30 yet,” I said.
“z7ma barra,” he said. “Yhawshooni lma at25r,” he continued in worries.
“Don't worry, they can't say anything as long as I'm with you,” I said.
“Wallah 9dg?” He said, his puppy eyes made me wanna eat him. He's so adorable.
“Wallah,” I said.
“Here's your sandwich ma'am, and your coffee,” Merry said.
“Thank you so much,” I said. We both smiled.
“Let's go?” I said.
“Yallah,” he ran to the living room and took his packback.
“Bye baba,” we both yelled out.
“Allah y7f'6kom,” baba said. Aunt muneera is still sleeping i think.
We hopped in the car, and the maid hopped in too.
“Anwar, rou7 mdrsa,” Saleh said.
“Ma feeh farooha w hala?” He said.
I remember anwar.
“Laa, Yallah bsr3a” Saleh said
“Hi anwar, tt4krni? Ana Lily awl jeet,” I said
“Ana fe m3loom enta, leeh ma feeh yje mn zman,” he said.
“Feeh shu'3l ma agdr aje, sh5bark anwar,”
“Ana fe kwais, enta kwais?”
“Ana kwais,” I said
Anwar was my grandpa driver since forever but now he works for my dad too.
“Saleh, you're in 2nd grade right?” I asked and Saleh nodded.
“Anti which grade,” he asked. “I don't study I work,” I said
“Nfs 3ziz ma 3ndk homework,” he said. I shook my head no.
“Cool, wain enti tro7een wain you work?” He asked.
“I don't work in Riyadh I work back in Australia,” I said
“Can I come and see?” He said
“For sure,” I said
We talked until we arrived.
“5l9t esa3a 7:00 9art 7:15 I'm late ya waili, I told you we will be late” saleh said.
“I will take you to your class, don't worry,” I said.
We hopped off the car, and 2 guards hopped off from their car.
“You can wait outside I will be fine,” I said.
“Meen hathoul?” Saleh asked
“Lma trj3 agoulk,” I said. It's really hard to explain such a thing to a 8 years old boy.
we entered his school, a teacher was standing, I took off my sunglasses to show respect.
“Saleh, leeh tt25r, Yallah bsr3a,” the teacher said.
He looked at me then I said, “I'm sorry, it's my fault I made him late,”
“Men enti?” She asked.
“Hathi...” I cutted Saleh before he completes his sentence, “I'm Saleh's elder sister,”
“Anti Farah?” She asked
Bitch we might look a bit a like but Farah's doesn't have blonde hair, nor blue eyes.
“No, I'm Lily,” I said.
“Anti Lily alflani????” She asked.
“Hm yeah obviously..” I said. “Anyways let him go to his class, and don't tell him anything whenever he's late,” I said.
“Good-bye Saleh,” I said as I turned to him.
“Bye Lily,” he said and ran to his class.
I wore back my Miu Miu shades and went to the car. I hopped in just like a queen.
“Anwar, bait,” I said.
“Okay,” and he drove back home.
To be continued..
FEEEEDBAACKS!!!
